01 Who we are
Design Acquire is a service of Four and Three Inc. (“Design Acquire,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Policy applies to the Design Acquire website, downloadable resources, applications, client communications, and related services that link to it.
02 Information we collect
Information you provide
- your name, email address, company, role, and contact details;
- company website, industry, size, revenue range, timeline, budget readiness, and current design resources;
- project context, design needs, business blockers, referral source, and other application responses;
- your email address when you request the Design for Entrepreneurs guide;
- client materials, access details, feedback, approvals, and project communications; and
- support, privacy, or other messages you send to us.
Information collected automatically
We may collect device and browser details, IP address, timestamps, pages viewed, referral information, form events, errors, security signals, and diagnostic logs. We use this information to operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website and services.
03 How we use information
We use information to:
- deliver requested resources and respond to applications;
- evaluate whether Design Acquire is a good fit for your business;
- plan, perform, and support client work;
- communicate about availability, services, resources, and changes;
- maintain business, accounting, project, and legal records;
- understand website performance and improve the experience;
- detect abuse, fraud, security issues, and prohibited use; and
- comply with law and enforce our agreements.
We do not sell or rent personal information. We do not use client work for public marketing or case studies without permission or another lawful basis.
04 AI-assisted processing
Design Acquire may use AI-assisted tools for research, synthesis, ideation, copy exploration, prototyping, visual exploration, image generation, analysis, and production support. When those tools are used, the limited prompts, references, or project context needed for the task may be processed by the applicable provider.
We do not intentionally submit passwords, payment-card details, government identifiers, or other highly sensitive information to AI tools. Do not provide confidential, personal, or sensitive information unless you have authority to share it, it is necessary for the project, and any project-specific AI restrictions have been agreed in writing.
05 Storage and retention
Website form submissions are stored in the site’s business database. Contact applications are also sent through Web3Forms so Design Acquire can receive an email notification and respond. Client files and communications may be stored in project, cloud-storage, email, and business systems used to deliver the service. We retain information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, the client relationship, backups, security, accounting, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
Guide signup information may be retained until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it, subject to records we must keep for legal or security reasons.
06 When we share information
We share information only as reasonably needed with:
- hosting, database, storage, email, analytics, security, and diagnostic providers;
- design, development, AI, and production providers used for an authorized project workflow;
- payment and accounting providers where a client engagement requires them;
- professional advisers and business transaction partners under appropriate duties; and
- law enforcement, regulators, courts, or other parties when required by law or needed to protect rights, safety, and security.
Service providers receive only the information reasonably needed for their role and are subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
07 Security and international processing
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards, including access controls, protected transmission, and limited credentials. No system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee that unauthorized access, loss, or misuse will never occur.
Our providers may process information in Canada, the United States, or other countries where they operate. Those locations may have different privacy laws than your home jurisdiction.
08 Your choices and rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal information; withdraw consent; object to or restrict certain processing; and complain to a privacy regulator. You may unsubscribe from optional email using the link in a message or by contacting us.
We may ask you to verify your identity before completing a request. Some information may be retained where required for contracts, accounting, security, legal compliance, or the establishment or defence of legal claims.
09 Cookies and analytics
The website may use essential storage and limited analytics or diagnostic technologies to remember preferences, operate forms, measure performance, and protect the service. Where applicable law requires consent for non-essential technologies, we will request it. You can also control cookies through your browser, although blocking some storage may affect site features.
10 Children
Design Acquire is intended for businesses and adults. It is not directed to people under 18, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us if you believe a minor has provided information so we can investigate and remove it where appropriate.
11 Changes and contact
