01 Scope
This Policy applies when Design Acquire uses AI-assisted systems in connection with a website, application, resource, client project, prompt, upload, reference, concept, prototype, image, copy draft, analysis, revision, or deliverable. It forms part of the Terms of Service and any applicable client agreement.
02 Your responsibilities
You must:
- use Design Acquire and AI-assisted work only for lawful purposes;
- have the rights, permissions, and consents needed for every file, logo, name, likeness, voice, trademark, claim, data point, and instruction you provide;
- identify project-specific confidentiality, regulatory, or AI restrictions before processing begins;
- review deliverables for accuracy, safety, legality, accessibility, and suitability before use;
- comply with applicable laws, platform rules, advertising standards, and disclosure requirements; and
- apply qualified human review to regulated, professional, or high-impact material.
03 Illegal, exploitative, or dangerous use
You may not ask Design Acquire to create, assist, or distribute material that facilitates illegal activity; sexually exploits or endangers a child; creates non-consensual intimate imagery; promotes violent extremism, credible threats, or serious physical harm; encourages self-harm; promotes unlawful hatred or discrimination; or targets a person with harassment, stalking, intimidation, or doxxing.
04 Fraud, impersonation, and deception
You may not use AI-assisted work for scams, phishing, identity theft, fabricated endorsements, deceptive fundraising, defamation, or material misrepresentation. You may not create a deceptive likeness or voice of a real person without appropriate consent, mislead people about elections or emergencies, or conceal AI involvement where disclosure is required by law, a platform, or the context.
05 Rights, privacy, and confidential information
You may not provide or request material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, contractual, or other rights. Do not provide trade secrets, personal data, health information, government identifiers, payment credentials, passwords, or other sensitive information without authority, a legitimate need, and an agreed processing approach.
AI-assisted work may not be used for covert surveillance, unlawful profiling, facial-recognition abuse, discriminatory targeting, or harmful use of another person’s identity.
06 High-impact and professional uses
AI-assisted Design Acquire work must not be the sole basis for decisions about a person’s healthcare, legal rights, employment, education, housing, lending, insurance, benefits, immigration, or access to essential services. It must not be presented as legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice.
Advertising, fundraising, financial, health, housing, employment, or other regulated material requires independent review of every claim, disclosure, price, date, eligibility rule, and notice before publication.
07 Responsible publication
Before publishing, printing, developing, advertising, sharing, or relying on AI-assisted material, verify every word, number, claim, link, image, person, product, and source. Confirm rights, releases, accessibility, destination requirements, and any required AI disclosure. A polished draft is not proof that the underlying content is accurate or cleared for use.
08 Enforcement and reporting
We may decline an instruction, exclude material, limit AI use, suspend work, preserve relevant evidence, or end an engagement where reasonably necessary to address safety, legal, security, provider, or policy concerns. Urgent action may be taken without advance notice.
If you believe material connected to Design Acquire violates this Policy, contact levin@designacquire.com.
09 Relationship to other terms
This Policy supplements the Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, AI Risk Disclosure, and any signed client agreement. The signed client agreement controls project-specific commercial terms. We may update this Policy as our services, law, and AI safety practices evolve.
